This year's all-school reunion will be held Friday, July 07 - Sunday, July, 09, 2017.  This year's theme focuses on how we as individuals can be instruments of change. "The Difference We Make Begins With You". How we behave with each other, what we say to each other, these simple things are making a difference in the world every moment of every day, though we might not even realize it. With this in mind, we should all choose to make sure the difference we make is positive difference in the world. We cannot and should not sit back and wait for change to come from someone else.

The Convention kicks off with the annual picnic Friday morning to Friday afternoon at a choice of two locations, Duncan Park, or on the lawn of the Hilliard Alumni Association on Avenue C.  There will be entertainment on Friday night at the local Bay City Service Center with a Soul Train Night of Motown Music and Talent Show Performances and Competitions.  Cash Prizes will go to the three best  performances.  Gift Certificates will be awarded to the male dressed most like the Motown era as well as the female dressed most like that era. Hosts for the Motown event will be Hilliard High School Class of 1967 and Friends, celebrating their 50th year anniversary as graduates.

Saturday, July 08, 2017 starts with a morning business meeting at the Alumni building. Willie Rollins, 1967 Hilliard graduate and class historian, will be the speaker. Afterwards, class groups are free to break off into individual activities. The evening's banquet will feature guest speaker, Mr. Joe Dan Washington Sr.former football coach of two winning Hilliard High School state championship teams, and later football coach at Port Arthur's Lincoln High School.  Host for the night will be Mr. William Dale.

The 2017 three day weekend will culminate with a memorial service at a local church on Sunday afternoon, July 09, 2017, with class of 1967 alumni Fulton Cunningham and Vernon Johnson acting as moderator and speaker.
